Aesthetic prosthetics
If you have widened tooth gaps, pigment-like defects, too visible filling or one of the front teeth has changed color, these defects can be relatively easily corrected with porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers imitate natural tooth enamel well. Besides, they are resistant to various environmental factors: coffee, tea, nicotine, etc., maintaining their intended color and shape.
In cases of major damage like trauma, caries, or significant wear, it is recommended to place a crown. It is a permanent metal-free structure made of either porcelain or zirconia.
Additionally, our clinic provides an opportunity to see what your smile will look like after the treatment. For that matter, we have a special dental treatment planning tool Digital Smile Design (DSD).
Porcelain veneers are a relatively quick and aesthetically pleasing way to improve the appearance of your teeth. They are new, improved-looking front teeth that significantly improve your smile.
A porcelain veneer is a thin ceramic plate that covers the surface of the tooth, improving the shape, color, and position of the tooth.
Porcelain veneers are recommended in cases where the patient has widened tooth gaps, pigment-like defects, a too-visible filling or one of the teeth has changed color.
First, the doctor grinds a thin layer of the teeth to be improved and scans the oral cavity to make porcelain plates.
While the veneers are being made in the laboratory for permanent use, temporary veneers are placed on the patient. The finished porcelain veneer is usually bonded with dental cement.

In cases when it’s not possible to put a filling on the tooth or the loss of tooth tissue is greater than 50%, it is recommended to insert a dental crown.
At the REMEDIUM clinic, we work with metal-free structures for these types of situations: ceramic or zirconium permanent dentures. Ceramic crowns fulfill their aesthetic function rather well, but it should be noted that they are less durable compared to zirconia.
We generally recommend using ceramic crowns to restore front teeth, as they are less necessary for chewing food.
Crowns can usually be placed in 2-4 visits, depending on a particular situation.

Zirconia is a very durable material, ideal for such a toxic environment as the human oral cavity. Most often, zirconium crowns are used to hide tooth defects, prosthetic elements, or metal pins. Additionally, due to its biocompatible properties, zirconium does not cause allergies, receding gums, or crown discoloration.
Zirconia crowns can be used for both incisors and back teeth. Depending on the specific situation, we use zirconium crowns made of zirconium oxide or a framework of the same material with ceramic on top. Thus, being
able to provide an optimal combination of zirconium crowns for each patient.
Since today’s digital technologies allow crowns to be embedded with very high precision, minimal grinding of the tooth tissue is required when installing a zirconia crown.

Modern technologies provide an opportunity for the client to design his future possible smile using an innovative dental treatment planning tool DSD (Digital Smile Design). For example: What would I look like if I didn’t have a gap between my front teeth?
By using video, photo, X-ray, and three-dimensional (3D) images, it is possible to visualize the desired final result even before starting the treatment. Thus, it is possible to get a comprehensive picture of the appearance of the teeth BEFORE and AFTER, as well as to get a complete picture of the work to be done.
The entire procedure is usually included in one visit which can take up to 30 min.
