Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment corrects problems associated with a misaligned bite or misalignment of teeth. Treatment includes jaw structure and tooth correction measures, which require long-term involvement of the patient over several years.

Teeth straightening is the most requested procedure, which can be done either using transparent braces or braces.

We have a certified and experienced orthodontist who uses only high-quality and tested materials developed by the world’s leading suppliers of orthodontic materials: SPARK, Invisalign, and Ordoline.

Teeth straightening with transparent [clear] braces [aligners]

Braces are the most modern and the most comfortable way for the patient to get a correct bite or a neat row of teeth.

Braces are easy to clean: you can take them out, brush your teeth, and put them back.

And, most importantly, they are practically invisible.

However, it should be taken into account that the braces should be worn at least 22 hours a day, otherwise, it will not be possible to achieve the desired result in the intended time. So self-discipline is one of the most important key factors when choosing this method of teeth straightening.

The treatment process itself is relatively simple.

After the initial consultation, X-rays are taken and a treatment plan is drawn up. Additionally, a 3D visualization is viewed, providing an idea of the gradual transition of the bite from the existing to the desired state.

After the braces are made and fitted, the patient receives his own, individually designed set, with the assumption that the user independently replaces them every 2 weeks.

Follow-up visits are recommended every two to three months to ensure that the treatment is progressing according to the plan.

Teeth straightening with braces

Dental braces are orthodontic constructions that help to create a correct dental bite.

The treatment is based on the metal arcs of the braces, which the orthodontist tightens or loosens to change the pressure of the braces on the teeth. Since braces are not removable during the entire treatment process, they cause more discomfort than transparent braces [aligners]. They require a more careful approach to tooth brushing.

Although metal braces perform their basic function perfectly, less noticeable ceramic braces are gaining more and more popularity. However, it should be noted that they are less resistant, especially when exposed to very hard food in the diet.

The treatment process proceeds as follows: first, the doctor examines the oral cavity and overall face, taking X-rays and a scan of the oral cavity. After installing the

braces, the orthodontist explains the care of the braces and the oral cavity and the importance of following these instructions.

Repeated visits are required every 2 months, during which the orthodontist evaluates the course of treatment, makes the necessary corrections, and also updates the prognosis for how long the patient needs to wear the braces.
